• （中央社里約熱內盧17日綜合外電報導）肯亞選手吉普魯托今天在里約奧運田徑男子3000公尺障礙賽奪下金牌，延續肯亞在這項目超群出眾的連續勝利。但稱霸該項目18年的肯亞悍將坎波伊因跨出跑道意外失格。

    法新社報導，吉普魯托（Conseslus Kipruto）以創奧運紀錄的8分03秒28成績，勇奪肯亞自1988年以來在該項目連續第9面金牌。美國選手耶格（Evan Jager）以8分04秒28屈富邦信用卡 週年慶 回饋居亞席。

    吉普魯托賽後說：「我從現場轉播螢幕上看到自己遙遙領先其他人，心想沒人趕得上了。最後100公尺我知道自己就要拿下金牌了。肯亞人喜愛障礙賽跑，所以我們會贏，儘管今天銀牌被美國人拿走。」

    曾在這項目2度摘下奧運金牌、4次世界冠軍的肯亞名將坎波伊（Ezekiel Kemboi），這場生涯最後賽事本來以8分08秒47的成績排第3。但他因越出跑道遭判失格，由法國選手梅吉西（Mahiedine Mekhissi）遞補銅牌。
